Decorated in about 1240 the spandrels below the north portal contain sculpures depicting the Creation. In the image above God creates the sun and moon held by angels above him.
The creation of Adam.
God shows Adam and Eve the Tree of Knowledge.
A winged serpent tempts Eve to eat from the Tree of Knowledge.
Adam and Eve both eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge.
Adam and Eve having eaten from the Tree of Knowledge become aware of their nakedness.
God discovers that Adam and Eve have ate the fruit.
Adam and Eve are expelled from the Garden of Eden.
