Upper Shuckburgh

deer park - upper shuckburgh

The village of Upper Shuckburgh was deserted during the medieval period. The location now consists of Shuckburgh Hall in a landscaped deer park and the Church of St John the Baptist in the Wilderness, which contains a collection of memorials to the Shuckburgh family.
