Located in the south choir aisle of Salisbury Cathedral, this monument commemorates Bishop George Moberly, who served as Bishop of Salisbury from 1869 until his death in 1885. 

 

 

Tewkesbury Abbey

 

Between 1886 and 1892 John Hardman and Company designed a produced a number of windows for the nave of Tewkesbury Abbey. In addition to the large west window that show scenes from the life of Jesus, they also produced a number of other windows relating events in the life of Christ.

This stained-glass window depicting the Transfiguration of Christ was made in 1887 by Burlison and Grylls and presented to the church by Lady Cicely Clifton. It follows a well-established iconographic scheme, arranged in two registers beneath a Gothic architectural canopy.
