Rosy Tabby (Endotricha flammealis)

Endotricha is a genus of moths in the Pyralidae family. These are small to medium-sized moths with a wingspan typically ranging from 15–30 mm. The forewings are relatively narrow, often pointed at the tip, and more brightly coloured compared to other pyralids, with shades of pink, reddish, or orange are common, often with metallic or iridescent scales. Many species have contrasting patterns of dark lines or spots on the wings. The caterpillars often feed on detritus, dead leaves, or sometimes fungi, and some species are leaf-rollers or stem borers.
