This tomb of Canon John Gylby Lonsdale (1907) at Lichfield Cathedral was made by Farmer and Brindley.12
Canon Lonsdale was the son of Rt. Rev. John Lonsdale, Bishop of Lichfield.3 His daughter, Lucy Margaret Lonsdale, was a nurse who wrote a biography of Dorothy Pattison, an Anglian nun of the Sisterhood of the Good Samaritans, who was a pioneer nurse who worked with the poor and railwaymen in Walsall.4
