On the 20th of March 1413 Henry IV died at the Abbot of Westminster's house in London. Having usurped the crown in 1399 after Richard II seized his lands, his reign was punctuated by a number of revolts, notably the rebellion by Owen Glendower in Wales, and the Percy's in the north. He was buried at Canterbury Cathedral and was succeeded by his son Henry V.
