This freestanding monument to Richard Eedes (1604), dean of Worcester cathedral, consists of a large canopied sarcophagus with a recumbent effigy. Richard Edes had been chaplain to Queen Elizabeth I, and was employed to work on the King James I bible translation, but died before the work commenced.
