Adoration of the Magi (cell 39)

Cell 39 on the second floor of the San Marco convent was reserved for Cosimo de Medici. The fresco on the wall is the Adoration of the Magi by Benozzo Gozzoli.

Cain and Abel Mosaics - Monreale Sicily

The story of Cain and Abel is told on the wall of the North aisle of the cathedral of Montreale in Sicily. The mosaics are based on the Byzantian style and created in about 1218 by Moorish artists.
