Good-Samaritan Theme Pages

One of the parables told by Jesus in Luke 10:30/33.

This window in Chartres Cathedral is dated to about 1210, and depicts the parable of the Good Samaritan.1 Other scenes in the window tell the story of adam and eve.

A 1856 Victorian Gothic stained glass with the Good Samaritan parable in three lancets, topped by a Good Shepherd scene, reflecting Victorian moralism by William Wailes.

Dated 1867 this stained glass window in St Mary's church Lutterworth depicts the parable of the Good Samaritan.

 

This depiction of the Good Samaritan by Marc Chagall was installed in Reims Cathedral in 1974.
