This window, at Tours cathedral, is dated to the last part of the 13th century, was donated to Tours Cathedral by the Canons of the Collegiate church ⓘ at Loches in commemoration for the Treaty of Paris (1259) ⓘ between Louis IX of France and Henry III of England.
The choir stalls of the collegiate church ⓘ of Saint-Jean-Baptiste ⓘ at Montrésor form one of the most eloquent ensembles of Renaissance woodcarving in Touraine. They were made around 1530-1540, when Imbert de Batarnay, seigneur of Montrésor and counsellor to four French kings, endowed the new collegiate foundation he had created in 1521.
The Crucifixion window in the Church of Saint John the Baptist ⓘ at Montrésor, in the Indre-et-Loire region of France, is one of the finest surviving examples of early sixteenth-century stained glass in the Loire Valley. Filling a tall Gothic lancet divided into several vertical lights, it unfolds as a vivid narrative of the Passion of Christ, rendered in rich Renaissance color and form.
This window depicting the Life of St Martin ⓘ is one of the choir clerestory ⓘ windows at Tours Cathedral. The main window consists of some eighteen panels in six registers and is dated to the completion of the just after the rebuilding of the chancel in last part of the 13th century.
The stained glass windows in this section are all from the chancel and choir clerestory ⓘ of Saint Gatien's Cathedral in Tours. They all date from the between 1250 and 1300 and are contemporary with the rebuilding of the chancel between 1236-1279. The windows in the apse are the earlier and date between 1250-1260, whilst those in the clerestory were installed in the last part of the 13th century.

The 18 panels in the main part of the window depict the Tree of Jesse running up the center of the window, and the childhood of Christ on either side. The panels in the tracery contain representations of Abraham ⓘ and Isaac ⓘ, and an Angel with a Lamb stopping the sacrifice of Isaac.
