This images of St Paul ⓘ shows him with his sword. The glass dates from 1350 when the east window was installed in the abbey church of St Peter's ⓘ as part of the rebuilding by Edward III. The abbey church became a Cathedral in 1541 when Henry VIII dissolved the monasteries.
