This fresco painting of the Annunciation can be found in one of the novice's cells in the monastry of San Marco, Florence. Painted by Fra Angelico ⓘ it is deliberately low key reflecting the vows of poverty that the monks had undertaken. Saint Dominic ⓘ stands in the doorway to the left looking on.
