The tomb of Joanna Bohun (d1337), in the Lady Chapel of Hereford cathedral, is one of only two 14th cenury tombs of women in Hereford where the name of the person represented is known. She died childless and in the last year of her life gave 1 acre of land and the advowson of the church of Lugwardine to the cathedral. Her donation supported 10 new vicars at Hereford cathedral four of whom served in the Lady Chapel.
