Battle of Evesham 1265

The Battle of Evesham took place on the 4th of August 1265. It was the final and decisive battle of the Second Baron's War in which the baron's army led by Simon de Montfort, 6th earl of Leicester was routed by the army led by Prince Edward (the later Edward I).
