This sequence of wall painting in St. Albans Cathedral show scenes from the life of the Virgin Mary ⓘ on the columns of the nave.

Mary and Christ are both sitting on a double throne with two censing angels in the spandrels ⓘ above them. Mary wears a coronet whilst Christ dressed in a white tunic, raises his hand in a blessing, and in the other hand he holds a book in a leather binding.
