This fresco (1438-1443) by Fra Angelico 1438-1443) depicting the Presentation in the Temple is in cell 10 of the San Marco monastery in Florence. Mary and Joseph are to the left, Simeon holding the child. St Peter ⓘ the Martyr is the kneeling figure, whoever, the female figure on the right is unidentified. The half domed niche in the background provides adding depth to the composition.
