The central doorway was the last of the three portals, of Notre-Dame Cathedral Paris, to be decorated. Work started in about 1230 and consists of Christ in Majesty (showing the marks of the Crucifixion) with the Virgin Mary ⓘ and St John ⓘ on either side of him.
This portal of the Virgin, at Notre Dame Paris, was sculpted between 1210 and 1220. The main scene show the Coronation of the Virgin, where Mary is being crowned Queen of heaven by an angel, whilst she sits on the same throne as Jesus. In the lintel below is Mary on her death bed surrounded by Jesus and the twelve aposles, two angels are about to lift her to heaven. In the lower lintel the old testament prophets are holding scrolls prophesying Christ.
The following pages catalogue examples of stained from different historic periods prior to the Nineteenth century. This will include Medieval (pre 1500), Tudor (1485-1603), and then from James I through to the beginning of the Nineteenth century.
This fresco (1438-1443) by Fra Angelico 1438-1443) depicting the Presentation in the Temple is in cell 10 of the San Marco monastery in Florence.
Made between 1240-1255 by a Paris goldsmith, to hold the relics of St Taurin, this shrine was commissioned by the abbot Gislebert de Saint-Martin ⓘ. The reliquary weighs 82kg and is made of bronze silver and gold leaf over a wooden chest.

This window was donated to the Cathedral by King Louis XI of France in 1467-1469. It's eight panels depicts events from the Resurrection to the Last Judgement of Christ.
Tomb of Richard I of England ⓘ (d1199). This is one of three tombs to Richard I, this one is said to contain his heart, his entrails were buried in Châlus (where he died), and the rest of his body was buried at the feet of his father, Henry II, at Fontevraud Abbey in Anjou.
This is the tomb of Richard de Beauchamp, 13th Earl of Warwick. who died at Rouen on the 30th April 1439. His will made an endowment to the collegiate church ⓘ of St Mary, Warwick, money to build the chantry chapel ⓘ at St Mary's, and gifts to Tewkesbury Abbey.
