Stephen King of England dies 1154

On the 25th of October 1154 King Stephen of England died of a stomach disorder, and was buried at Faversham Abbey along side his wife and son Eustace. In accordance with the Treaty of Winchester (1153) he was succeeded by Henry II, the son of the Empress Matilda and Geofrey of Anjou.
