Tomb of Michelangelo Buonarroti - Basilica of Santa Croce Florence

This tomb dedicated to Michelangelo was created by Vasari in 1570 and contains elements of Sculpture, Architecture and Painting. It contains three statues, one representing Architecture by Giovanni dell’Opera, one representing Sculpture by Valerio Cioli, and one representing Painting by Battista Lorenzi. Above the tomb is a bust of Michelangelo also by by Battista Lorenzi. The frescos are the work of G. B. Naldin.
