This lancet by Bailley & co. depicting the Sermon On The Mount is dated to 1904, and was donated by Sarah Anne Earp of Staunton Harold Hall in memory of her family (father, mother, and two sons).

The central figure is a depiction of Jesus Christ, seated and surrounded by a halo, suggesting his divine nature. He is dressed in a red and white robe with golden accents, raising his right hand in a gesture of blessing or teaching. His left hand rests gently, and his posture exudes calm authority. Behind him, a stylized tree or foliage in green and blue tones frames the scene, adding a natural backdrop.

Flanking Jesus are several figures in various poses of reverence or supplication. To his left, an elderly man with a beard, possibly a prophet or apostle, gazes upward. Below, two other figures in flowing robes, one in blue and another in earthy tones, kneel or sit, their hands raised or outstretched toward Christ. The figures are rendered with detailed facial expressions and vibrant colors, including reds, blues, and yellows, enhanced by silver staining for highlights.

The lower section includes a landscape with green foliage, grounding the celestial scene. The window's lead lines and glass segments create a structured yet harmonious composition, typical of Victorian-era stained glass craftsmanship.
